As organizers of Gasshuku, we decided to help our friend Vladimir Mikuláš, who is ill with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
Vláďa is one of us, he is also karateka, an athlete, the father of two beautiful children, and doctors diagnosed him with ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (abbreviated as ALS) The disease was first named in 1869 by the French neurologist Jean-Martin Charcot. And despite the fact that it has been 146 years and the world has changed since then, modern medicine does not have any advice with ALS. | What causes the illness? How does it choose its victims? How to treat it? None of these questions can answer even the greatest brains of world medicine. We only know how ALS works: it is an incurable progressive neurodegenerative disease that is manifested by the progressive loss of nerve cells that provide a connection between the nervous system and most muscular groups of influenced wills. |
The course Simplified, patients with no known cause have their nerves dwindling, resulting in a gradual inability to move muscles, speech loss, swallowing disorder, and difficulty in breathing. In the end, the person remains paralyzed, depending on the devices, but with full retention of sensory functions and mental abilities. | There is no cure Although there is currently no cure for this condition, we can all hope that this will soon change and help patients come in. |
The first who supported Vláďa and establish a transparent account for him are his futsal buddies. Gasshuku is joining to support the nonprofit organization Futsal for life, where you can find all the information about Vláďa and about this organization.
You can contribute any financial amount on the 2401204687/2010 (FIO BANKA) account or by purchasing a Futsal za Život (Futsal For Life) T-shirt and other items with the same logo that will be offered at the Gasshuku Infocentre.
THANK to Everyone who helps
