Upcoming Gasshuku in the Czech Republic will be held in Kadaň from 1st to 5th July 2022.

Instructors, leading seminars this year, are Tatsuya Naka (7th dan JKA) and Koichiro Okuma (7th dan JKA), Kazuaki Kurihara (6th dan JKA).

Information Center will be directly in the hall, which ensures convenient accessibility from the hotels, from the hall and from the camp.

The registration will take place there. There will be also all the information about the event and also shop with karate-gi, karate equipment, T-shirts and gasshuku souvenirs. There will be also information about the additional and official program.

It is a newly built sports hall, which offers suitable training conditions in a pleasant environment even if a larger number of trainees is there. The hall has a permanent auditorium is air-conditioned, with a sufficiently dimensioned capacity dressing rooms and sanitary facilities. There is a refreshment saloon, dance hall, squash courts, and for regeneration is built massage parlor and sauna with a pool. This year Gasshuku first place in the royal town of Kadan. Kadan is a city with eighteen thousand inhabitants in the Usti region located southwest of Chomutov, on the left bank of the River Ohre.

Settlements in the area took place in various nations since the 18th to the 13th century BC and Kadan was a Slavic fortress. The first written mention of Kadan is from the year 1183. In 1362 the town and the castle was destroyed by fire. Under the reign of King Charles IV. the city was restored. King and Emperor multiplied privileges, and again promoted to the royal city. Arrival of King Charles IV. into town people from Kadaň still annually celebrate on the last Saturday in August, celebrate as imperial day. In 1978 was declared conservation area in parts of Kadaň.
